Produced at Destilería Sauza-Leyes (NOM 1493) by Guillermo Erickson Sauza, Fortaleza is one of the most respected names in the tequila world. Hand-harvested 100% Blue Weber agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, crushed with a two-ton stone tahona wheel, and fermented in small wood vats. Aged in American oak barrels, it pours a stunning golden amber and delivers a breathtaking profile of rich butterscotch, baked agave, warm vanilla, and earthy oak. A monumental sipping spirit.
