Regional Burgundy appellation created in 1937, producing light, fresh, fruity red or rosé wines. It is a blend of Pinot Noir (minimum 1/3) and Gamay (up to 2/3), often co-fermented, offering cherry and strawberry notes. It is an affordable, youthful, everyday wine.
